Essien’s London home burgled; £75,000 Range Rover stolen

Ex-Chelsea star Michael Essien's London home was targeted by burglars, who made off with his flash Range Rover Vogue, the Mirror.co.uk has reported.

Police confirmed that the £75,000 vehicle was stolen e on April 7.

Midfielder Essien now lives in Italy, playing for AC Milan, however he still owns the home which was purchased during his time at Chelsea.

The property is located near Chelsea's Cobham Training Centre.

No arrests have yet been made, according to the police.

Essien, 32, arrived at Chelsea in 2005, joining from Lyon for a reported £24.4million.

He went on to play for Real Madrid before moving to Italy to play for AC Milan.
