WAFA’s inspiring coach Klaavs Rasmussen and Berekum Chelsea player Stephen Sarfo have been named the NASCO coach and player of the month, respectively, for the month of April by the Premier League Board (PLB).
Coach Rasmussen won the NASCO coach of the month award ahead of his contenders, Aduana Stars’ Yussif Abubakar and Frank Nuttall of Hearts of Oak, following a remarkable run in April, in which he led WAFA to win all their five matches to climb to the top of the Ghana Premier League standings.
Sarfo’s influential play for Chelsea during the month of April, which saw him score four goals in five matches, clearly placed him ahead of WAFA’s Daniel Lomotey and Winful Cobbina for the Player of the Month Award.
The award winners will each be presented with a Nasco Elite Q6 mobile phone by by NASCO Electronics.
