Ghana beat Cameroon 2-1 at the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium in Yaounde on Saturday in their 2015 African Under-17 Championship final qualifier.
Strikes by Ernest Agyiri (31st minute) and Abass Issah (41st minute) gave the Black Starlets a 2:0 lead before the Cameroonians reduced the tally through skipper Martin Hongla just before the first half closed, leaving the Ghanaians with a huge advantage for the return leg in a fortnight.
