Bechem United sack coach

Coach of premier side Bechem United, Milisav Bogdanovic, joined the growing list of coaching casualties in the Premier League after he was fired by the club for breaching the terms of his contract.

President of the club, Kingsley Owusu-Achau, confirmed to Daily Graphic yesterday that the Montenegrin coach sought permission to seek medical attention but instead he held a scret meeting with Aduana Stars for a possible move to the Dormaa-Ahenkro-based side.

“Initially when we head it we thought it was just speculations so we didn’t want to act base on rumour but when we confronted him, he confirmed that he had some discussions with Aduana and so we asked him to go,” he said.

Mr Owusu-Achau also hinted that their investigation uncovered even the car and venue at which the said ‘secret’ meeting with Aduana officials was held, an act in clear breach of the Bechem’s contract with the Montenegrin which barred him from engaging in an unauthorised meeting with any other club.

Meanwhile, assistant coach, Kassim Ocansey Mingle, has been tasked to take temporal charge of the club until a substantive coach was appointed.
