Assifuah scores but Ghana put to the spot
Ghana's hopes of a good start at 2013 African U-20 Championship suffered a hit as they slipped to a 2-1 defeat to Egypt on Saturday.

subsequent matches against Benin and the hosts, Algeria.
The
Black Satellites chased the game after the Young Pharaohs took the lead
in second half through Hamad Mahmoud in the 66th minute when he flicked
in a freekick.
Ebenezer Assifuah's equalizer six minutes after
the opener, restored parity. The youngster, one of Ghana's attacking
threats volleyed in from close range with his left after his first
attempt was blocked in the box.
Ghana pressed for the winner but
with four minutes remaining, goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi fouled an
Egyptian player in the box and the Pharoahs were awarded a penalty.
From the spot, Saleh Gomaa netted to put his side in front again and that sealed the win the for Egypt.
