Sixteen-year-old midfielder from the Zamstech Senior High School in the Upper East Region, Daniel Abaa, last Saturday night emerged as the ultimate winner of the second edition of the MTN Soccer Academy “Skuulz Challenge.”
It was no doubt a glorious and fulfilling moment for the lad, who had shown so much promise right from the screening through to the very final of the soccer reality show as he lifted the championship trophy amid thunderous applause and cheers from the crowd.
For his prize, Abaa received a brand new Renault Duster 4Wheel drive from Premium Motors, the championship medal, a smart phone from Telefonika and GH¢200 worth of talk time from MTN.
In addition, he will have trials with Edukick in Manchester City and induction into Division One league side, Sporting Mirren FC.
