Ebusua Dwarfs will clash with Liberty Professionals at the Accra Stadium on Thursday in the opening match of a special playoff being organised by the Ghana Football Association to determine which team replace demoted Ashantigold in the 2022/2023 Ghana Premier League.

On Saturday, the crucial mini-league will see Dansoman-based Liberty taking on Tamale City FC, battling it out in another cagey encounter at the Accra Stadium.

The final match of the tension-packed tournament will take centre stage at the Accra Stadium on Monday when Tamale City and Ebusua Dwarfs vie in a decisive duel.

The club which amasses the highest number of points in the all-play-all format will qualify to replace Ashantigold which have suffered demotion to Division Two due to a match manipulation involving them and Inter Allies in the 2020/2021 league season.

The three teams earned the right to participate in the playoff after finishing second in their respective zones of the Division One League.
