The undefeated Lawson believes he has come of age and has a lot to offer, stressing that he would remain unbeaten after July 20.

‘’This is my time; I won’t promise anything but I will emerge victorious that day,” the 24-year-old boxer said.

Lawson had fought 36 times as a professional and won all, with 19 knockouts.

‘’I will urge all to come and witness wonders at the Lebanon House,” he told the Daily Graphic.

At a brief media encounter at the Media Centre of the Accra Sports Stadium yesterday, promoters of the bout, Alhaji Enusa Sally of Enus Promotions and Box Office Promotions, promised to give the audience a spectacle on the night.

Alex Ntiamoah Boakye of Box Office Promotions told the media that the bout would propel the two fighters into the international limelight.

‘’It is about time we offered something more reliable to our fighters that could transform them into world champions,” he stressed.

Lawson’s trainer, Daniel Lartekwei Hammond, told the Daily Graphic that his boxer would pummel Ungiandze into submission in the 12-round fight.

The night will also witness five interesting bouts. Manyo Plange of Fit Square gym clashes with Joshua Barnor of Square Deal gym for the vacant National super-bantamweight title.

An eight-round bantamweight contest would see Olympian Duke Micah of Seconds Out gym lock horns with Gally Cudjoe of Black Panthers gym.
