The Tagoe-Magali bout will be under the "Fistic Clash" bill which headlines the card put together by Asamoah Gyan's Baby Jet Promotions in collaboration with Box Office Sports Promotions (BOSP).

Tagoe (25 wins-1 loss-12 KO's) returns to the ring after a seven month lull in his career. He will be hoping to climb up the WBA rankings with victory over the little-known Magali (20 wins-seven losses-three draws).

Tagoe's bitter-rival George "Red Tiger" Ashie (25 wins-four losses-one draw) will also engage Michael “One Bullet” Ansah (10 wins-four losses-two draws) over 10 rounds for the Ghanaian Lightweight Title in another exciting match-up.

“We have an action packed show which will feature some of the best fighters we have in Ghana,” BOSP CEO, Alex Ntiamoah Boakye said at the press briefing on Friday in Accra.

He continued, “On that day, boxing fans who make their way to the venue will be thrilled with boxing artistry. Emmanuel Tagoe, who is getting closer to a world title shot, will defend his WBA International Lightweight belt against Carlo Magali. There will be a fierce clash between George Ashie and Michael Ansah.”

Other bouts on the under-card include, Stephen Okine battling Dodzi Kemeh for the WBA Interim Welterweight Title, Isaac Sackey locking horns with Michael Barnor for the National Super Bantamweight belt, featherweight prospect Patrick Ayi will fight Edward Kambasi in an eight round contest and Prince Dzanie will meet Felix Ezukwu in an eight round bantamweight contest.
