Afriyie, 25, joined the 2018/2019 Botswana champions on a free transfer in January this year after leaving Kenyan outfit Gor Mahia, but failed to live up to expectations.

Graphic Sports Online can confirm that his contract has been terminated and he has to find new employers as the club seek to bring in a replacement.

The gangling forward started his career at Bechem United where he was their leading marksman before moving to Serbian club Vojvodina Novi Sad in 2017. Subsequent transfers saw him at Mexican club Murcielagos in 2018 before he came back to the African continent signing for Gor Mahia and later Township Rollers.

He is said to be on the radar of Zambian teams, Mufilira Wanderers and Green Buffaloes who have all inquired about his services.

A return to the Ghana Premier League is also a possibility with AshantiGold said to be in the fray for a striker.
