Akonnor congratulates Andre Ayew
The Black Stars skipper scooped the Player of the Year Award, the Players' Player of the Year, the Away Player of the Year and the top scorer awards to bag the most awards of the ceremony.

Last month, his junior brother, Jordan Ayew also bagged three awards from his club, Crystal Palace following a wonderful premiership campaign with the Eagles.
In a tweet, Coach Akonnor urged his skipper to keep up the sterling performance that earned him the accolades.
“Congrats @AyewAndre. Well deserved Keep it up” the Coach Akonnor’s stated on his twitter handle.
The Black Stars midfielder contributed 18 goals in all competitions for his side this season with 15 in the Championship and scoring two in the EFL Cup while the other one was scored during the promotional play-offs.
This season’s award was a virtual ceremony as the original event had to be cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
