The items included packs of tissue-rolls, wipes, diapers, tins of baby formula, gallons of liquid soap, feed, bottled water and assorted fruits.

The gesture was part of activities to mark the network's second anniversary.

The network which also has the vision of building godly wives for Christ centered homes also shared the word of God with the mothers.

The mothers who received the items were full of joy and showed their appreciation for the kind gesture.

They expressed great joy at the donation of such items especially for the babies at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit since saying it would go a long way to alleviate some of the challenges faced by the mothers of such babies.

The President of the group, Gloria O. Atakora of the group said though illnesses could spark fears, worries and suffering, with individuals and families often emotionally crumbling under the pressures they should be encouraged with the word of God.
Quoting Deuteronomy 31:6 Mrs Atakora urged the mothers to be strong and courageous.

" Should not be afraid or terrified, for the Lord God is with them and He will never leave them nor forsake them.

She assured them that the group was fervently praying for them.
