The newly elected Member of Parliament for the Weija Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Mrs Rosemond Abrah, has  expressed gratitude to her constituents for voting her into office.

She pointed out that she could not have won without the support of many of her constituents, who she said worked tirelessly to help her secure victory.
Mrs Abrah, who stood on the ticket of the NPP, polled 32,861 votes to win the election. Her closest competitor,  NDC candidate,  polled 26,899 votes.
