Voting underway at NDC congress

Voting to elect national executives for the National Democratic Congress has started at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi where the party is holding its 8th national delegates congress. 

 

Just ahead of voting, a key contestant for the post of national chairman, Alhaji Huudu Yahaya, resigned from the race leaving the trio of incumbent Dr. Kwabena Adjei, Mr. Dan Abodakpi and Mr. Kofi Portuphy of the National Disaster Management Organisation fame, to battle it out.

In all about 70 individuals aspire to be elected to various offices for the next four years.
