Vote for me for all-inclusive but firm leadership - Fred Oware
A leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Fred Oware, has announced his decision to contest the position of National Chairman in the party.

In a statement released to the media Tuesday, Mr Oware said when given the nod, he would provide an “all-inclusive but firm leadership that would mean giving strength, energy and resources to the entire party structure especially at the constituency and polling station levels to function effectively”.
He said having served as the 1st Vice National Chairman of the NPP for four years, raising resources and logistics for the party, he had gained “valuable” experience and “contacts” in the electoral industry, which he said could be of immense benefit to the party.
He said: “I bring to NPP a pair of safe, matured and experienced hands that everyone can trust.
“I am open and shall give access and hearing to the grassroots but would continue to be firm in the interest of the party.
“I am from and for the private sector; our development partners.
“I am the purposeful manager who understands that together we all must manage the grassroots to win general elections.”
Mr Oware ended by calling on all party members and delegates to buy into his vision of uniting the party for 2016 victory by endorsing me when the elections get underway on March 1.

FOR THE POSITION OF NATIONAL CHAIRMAN OF THE NEW PATRIOTIC PARTY (NPP)
This is to inform the entire family of the New Patriotic Party and the country of my decision to contest the position of National Chairman of which elections are scheduled for 1st March, 2014.
Inspired by the ideals of the party and its leadership, I became a member two decades ago working behind the lines. Over the years, the party’s maxim of “ Development in Freedom” based on the principles of rule of law, personal freedoms, free market operation and strong family values, has proven that it is the best route for any country to inspire its people to work and improve upon themselves.
Currently, firm leadership, strategic planning, timely implementation of plans, use of intelligence and party cohesion and unity are matters requiring experienced and fair minded people to attend to.
I am persuaded that I bring to the leadership of the party unique abilities to pull everyone to the centre. The all - inclusive but firm leadership would mean giving strength, energy and resources to the entire party structure especially at the constituency and polling station levels to function effectively.
In the past four years, as the 1st Vice National Chairman, I have actively raised resources and logistics for the party; having travelled to every corner of the country pursuing the party’s interest. The experience and contacts made in the electoral industry is too valuable to allow them to go waste.
I bring to NPP a pair of safe, matured and experienced hands that everyone can trust.
I am open and shall give access and hearing to the grassroots but would continue to be firm in the interest of the party.
I am from and for the private sector; our development partners.
I am the purposeful manager who understands that together we all must manage the grassroots to win general elections.
I urge all our delegates to be mindful that our business is to win general elections and bring real development to our people which require trusted leadership.
Accordingly, I invite the delegates and all party members, at all levels, to buy into my vision of truly uniting the party for 2016 victory by endorsing me.
