Mr Awuku, therefore, urged the aspiring national executive officers to tell the delegates what they intended doing to ensure electoral victory for the NPP in the 2016 general polls instead of insulting one another before the delegates or in the mass media.

He gave the advice at Akyem Oda when he met NPP delegates from Akyem Oda, Asene-Manso-Akroso, Akyem Swedru, Achiase and Ofoase-Ayirebi to convince them to elect him as the national youth organiser of the party in the upcoming national elections.

He noted with concern that the NPP youth wing existed on paper but not on the ground, stressing that if given the mandate as the national youth organiser, he would transform the youth in the party into a vibrant segment to contribute effectively towards the party’s electoral success in election 2016.

Mr Awuku stressed that majority of Ghanaians were clamouring for the NPP to return to power in order to bail them from the unbearable economic hardships inflicted on them by the NDC.

“The writing is on the wall that the NPP will win the 2016 general elections and what is left is hard work and party unity,” he emphasised.

Mr Awuku condemned factionalism created by some members in the NPP, stressing “there is no Nana Akufo- Addo or Allan Keremanteng factions in the NPP but what we are all aiming at is for all party members to close their ranks and pool their resources to ensure a resounding victory for the NPP in the 2016 general polls.

The Oda Constituency Chairman of the NPP, Mr Yaw Mintah Debrah, commended Mr Awuku for his commitment to the success story of the NPP and urged him not to relent in his efforts.
