Sagnarigu North MP-elect grateful to constituents

Speaking to the Daily Graphic, Alhaji Fuseini said the constituency was going to witness a remarkable improvement in the area of education, health, and agriculture among other areas to improve on the quality of life of the people.

He further urged them to lend him support for the prosecution of development programmes that would stretch across the constituency.

He noted that since the New Patriotic Party (NPP) did not win any Parliamentary seat in the Tamale metropolis, “this shows how committed the people are to the NDC. Therefore, we would appropriately take recognition and ensure that the people get a fair share of the national cake.”

Alhaji Fuseini also thanked the chiefs and youth groups of the constituency for their massive show of support to the party during the December elections.

He has therefore called on them to prepare for the inauguration of President John Dramani Mahama on January 7, 2012, stressing that they should not allow themselves to be provoked by elements suffering from the trauma of defeat.

He said the NDC was a peaceful and loving party who are ready to adhere to the peaceful and democratic rule for the resolution of conflict.

He said the party also respected and abided by the constitution and the institutions of state because, “we truly love this nation and want peace and progress for Ghanaians.”

Alhaji Fuseini assured the people of Sagnarigu that he was ready to work with them day and night in order to transform their lives and that by the time the next elections would be held in the constituency, the NPP would be completely missing from the area.
