He said having a focus allowed them to plan their lives well in advance in order to avoid regrets later.

“If you do not have a vision, you are like cotton wool that is blown in any direction by the wind,” he said.

Mr Quaittoo offered the advice when he addressed the seventh Camp Meeting of the Kristo Asafo Students Union at Akim Oda in the Eastern Region.

The ceremony was held on the theme, ‘Let your light shine before men’.

He cautioned the students to be mindful of their peers and not to allow themselves to be influenced by friends who would make them stray from their goals.

“The devil will definitely trick you but that is when you will need to put on the full armour of God so that you can withstand temptations,” he said.

The General Secretary of the Kristo Asafo Mission, Mr Owusu Boadu, who represented the founder and leader of the mission, Dr  Apostle Kwadwo Safo, urged the youth to identify their talents and develop them for their well-being and the benefit of the country.

He promised to develop the talents of those who were technologically inclined so that they could contribute their quota to the socio-economic development of the country.

Participants at the Youth Camp Meeting also engaged in a talent show, soccer, a quiz  competition and a beauty pageant.
