The party also decided to promote a vibrant, free-market economy and encourage vigorous participation by citizens in economic activities.

It stressed that it would also work to create a climate in which private enterprise would thrive and citizens and foreigners alike may invest without fear and unnecessary bureaucratic restrictions and impediments, in order to create wealth and prosperity for the citizens and people of the country.

"The party shall provide the platform to strengthen the relations and communications between the Party and the government in order to deliver the promises in our manifesto as well as other government programmes and projects," the resolutions said.

Relations between party and government

It said the party would protect and promote its good name and unity as well as continue to be loyal and faithful in publicly upholding the decisions of the party;

In addition, the party would provide the platform to strengthen the relations and communications between it and the government in order to deliver on the promises in its manifesto as well as other government programmes and projects;

The party, again, would work to strengthen its structure and organisational machinery at the polling station, electoral area, constituency, regional and national levels to maintain its formidable and conquering state and also support the efforts of the government to rescue and restructure the National Health Insurance Scheme;

The NPP gave full support to the institutional, legislative and other reforms being pursued by the government to fight corruption pledging that it would fully engage the government to achieve the laudable flagship programmes of the government which included Free SHS, building strong economy, Infrastructure for Poverty Eradication Programmes (IPEP), Planting for Food and Jobs, establishment of Zongo Development Fund, Railway Development, Creation of New Regions and protection of the environment among others.
