NPP opens nominations for national executive elections

The New Patriotic Party has announced nomination forms for national executive positions will go on sale from Monday, January 27 to Wednesday, January 29.

Nomination forms costing GH₵500 each will be available at the elections directorate of the party at its headquarters in Accra from 10am on Monday, according to the party’s director of elections, Martin Adjei Mensah.

He told Joy FM in Accra the party expects to vet all applicants on the 12th and 13th February to pave way for elections on March 1, 2013 to elect national executives.

The announcement follows largely peaceful and successful regional executive polls held nationwide on Saturday.

Mr. Adjei Mensah was full of praise to God, delegates and contestants for the successful elections and entreated all who have complaints from the elections to seek redress with the party rather than going public with their problems.
