NPP crisis: Together we shall rise again — Agyepong

The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Kwabena Agyepong, is optimistic that sanity will prevail in the party again despite the turbulence the party is going through.

He and the National Chairman of the party, Mr Paul Afoko, are under pressure to resign following the killing of the Upper East Regional Chairman of the party, Alhaji Adams Mahama.

The flag bearer of the NPP, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, called for a truce last week and directed the two national executive members to return to work.
Mr Agyepong was spotted with Nana Akufo Addo at his office when the Winneba Youth Choir called on Nana Akufo Addo.
Announcing the visit on his Facebook wall, Mr Agyepong wrote: “Together we shall rise again,” to accompany the photos.
In attendance were a former Minister of Trade and Industry, Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, and the party’s National Women's Organiser, Otiko Afisah Djaba.
