BY: Sebastian Syme

The Agona West Municipal Chief Executive, Mr Samuel Oppong, has assured the newly elected Member of Parliament for the area, Mr Charles Obeng-Inkoom, of his unflinching support in the next four years.

He said as the MCE for the area, he would ensure that there was effective collaboration between him and the MP to facilitate the development of the constituency.

According to him, most often, due to the parliamentary ambitions of some DCE’s, there was usually bad blood between the two, adding that most DCE’s undermined MP’s from their own political party in order to contest and unseat them in the party’s parliamentary primary.
