Machomen for Good and Justice has condemned members of the Delta Force who forcibly attacked and removed the Ashanti Regional Security Coordinator from his office. Touching on the devastating consequences of illegal gold mining, the president of Machomen for Good and Justice also appealed to the government to allow them to engage state institutions charged with ensuring sanity in the gold mining industry so they would help flush out those illegal miners who were destroying the environment and water bodies.

Mr Ntiamoah said they would also ensure that those who had been licensed to mine gold did so in a very sustainable manner so that the consequences would not be dire for the environment.

He said they had in previous times ensured that people destroying the environment were stopped.
