Background:
All is set for the national delegates conference of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Tamale to elect new national officers for the party today. It has been described as the beginning of the party’s preparedness towards election 2016. The metropolis is bedecked with NPP paraphernalia and pictures of the 44 candidates vying for the various positions in the largest opposition party. Vehicular traffic in the metropolis has also increased leading to traffic congestions on some major intersections.
