Kasoa chiefs honour Prez Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama has urged members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to go out in their numbers on November 7 to endorse him as the presidential candidate for the 2016 election.

He said although he was running unopposed in the primary, it was still necessary for him to go out to canvass for massive endorsement to send signals to their opponents that he was ready to lead the party to another decisive victory come next year.

Round off

He was speaking at a meeting with chiefs at Kasoa to round off his working visit to the Central Region on Tuesday evening.

What was planned to be a small meeting turned out to be a mini-rally of a sort as crowds of party supporters turned up at the outdoor event to listen to the president.

Apparently overwhelmed by the large numbers of NDC supporters who poured onto the Kasoa Lorry Park in the evening, the President said victory was on the way for the NDC in 2016.
