A coalition of concerned members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Volta Region has embarked on a collective initiative to pay all filing fees for Chairman Mawutor Agbavito to seek re-election as the Volta Regional Chairman.
The coalition said the offer was a testament to the trust and confidence they had in Chairman Agbavito’s visionary and dynamic leadership, which had ushered in significant positive changes within the NDC in the Volta Region.

“Under his stewardship, the party has not only solidified its traditional strongholds but also expanded its appeal, attracting new supporters and energising the grassroots across the region.
“One of the most remarkable achievements during Chairman Agbavitor’s tenure has been the historic recapture of the Hohoe parliamentary seat, among other key electoral victories,” a statement signed by the convenors, Nyasembi Elvis Yorm, Djokoto Emmanuel and Homadzi Grace, said.
Those successes, it said, clearly indicated his effective strategies, inclusive approach and steadfast commitment to the party’s ideals and the development of the Volta Region.
It said the rejuvenation of party structures, improvement in internal unity and increased public engagement were milestones that spoke volumes about his capable leadership.
Crucial
“We, the concerned NDC members in the Volta Region, believe Chairman Mawutor Agbavitor’s continued leadership is crucial to maintaining and building on these gains. It is for this reason that we are fully sponsoring his filing fees and we strongly urge him to accept this offer and lead us to even greater heights.
“We call on all NDC loyalists and sympathisers in the Volta Region to rally behind Chairman Agbavitor as we prepare for the upcoming elections, confident that with his guidance, the NDC will remain the preferred choice for the people of the Volta Region,” it said.
