Five more nominated for MMDCEs

President John Dramani Mahama has nominated five more people for the positions of Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs).

The nominations are in accordance with Article 243(1) of the 1992 Constitution and Section 20(1) of the Local Government Act 1993, Act 462.
A statement from the Flagstaff House Communications Bureau gave the names of the nominees as Mr Alex Kwame Bonsu for Amansie West, Madam Veronica Antwi Adjei for Bosomtwe, and Modestus Nuworsu for Asutufi South.
The rest are Mr Pascal Lamptey for Ketu South and Mr Seth Badu Tawiah for Ledzokuku Krowor.
