First Lady urges group to woo electorate
In each community, members of the NDC and sympathisers lined up the streets to catch a glimpse of the first lady.
Touched by what she saw, the first lady got down from her vehicle and interacted with the people. She went a step further to present items such as party T-shirts, scarfs, wire-weaving mesh, among other things, to the people of Mansotsonya and Prampram.
She later inaugurated the Friends of Lordina Mahama at Kpone-Katamanso.
Mr Afotey Agbo said it was important for the youth to claim their rightful positions in national governance by doing all that they could to elect a leader who would be responsible and accountable to the youth.
He added that the best tribute the youth could pay to the memory of the late President Mills was to join members of the 007 Group to campaign to elect someone who was trained by the late professor himself.
Mr E.T Mensah, Mrs Ayittey and Mr Zarkour all added their voice to call on the youth to remain committed to a common goal of having a President who was willing to work with them for progress.
They urged members of the Friends of Lordina Mahama to use the resources at their disposal to educate their members on the need to avoid being used by any political party or politician to cause anarchy, confusion or mayhem during the forthcoming presidential and parliamentary elections.
