Election results from 190 constituencies put President Mahama in the lead


Election results from 190 constituencies put President John Dramani Mahama in the lead with 4,197,093 representing 52.9 per cent of votes cast.

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, who is the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) follows with 3,706,338 representing 46.21 per cent.

The other six presidential candidates trail badly behind the two front runners. They are Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom of the Progressive People’s Party, Dr Abu Foster Sakara of the Convention Peoples Party, Mr Hassan Ayariga of the PNC, Dr Herbert Lartey of the GCPP, Mr Akwasi Addai of the United Front Party and independent candidate, Mr Jacob Osei Yeboah.
