Eight more MMDCE nominees named

President John Dramani Mahama has nominated eight more people as Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs).

This is in accordance with Article 243(1) of the 1992 Constitution and Section 20(1) of the Local Government Act 1993, Act 462.

A statement issued by the Office of the President stated the nominees as Fafa Adinyirah for Ho, Abdulai Alhassan Red for Savelugu-Nanton and Hajia Mary Nakubu for Chereponi.

Others are Joseph Omari for Kwahu South, Windham Emil Afram for Afram Plains North and Dr. Kofi Blankson for Assin North.

The rest are Kwabena Adjei- Anomafo for Assin South and Ambrose Amoah-Ashyiah for Upper Denkyira West.
