Vice Chancellor (VC) of the Valley View University, Professor Daniel Kwame Bediako, has admonished Ghanaians to desist from accusing various institutions and politicians of being corrupt .
Rather, he said the entire Ghanaian populace must be blamed for acts and perceived acts of corruption.

The occasion saw a total of 886 students from the Techiman Campus and the Tamale Learning Centre being presented with certificates, diplomas and degrees in the areas of Business, Science

A total of 2,876 students were admitted during the 2017/2018 academic year, bringing the total figure of enrolment to 9,295 as against last year’s total of 9,605.

The VC also called for the scrapping of the West African Examination Council (WAEC) since it had outlived its usefulness.
According to Prof. Bediako, as an institution bequeathed to us by our colonial masters, it had not been able to bring any better changes into the moral development of the nation, adding that after several years of passing many students, it had not been able to make any positive impact on the social lives of the people.
He rather suggested the formation of a well-thought-through institution that would be able to bring moral and technical training to the people to match up with the current state of market needs of employers.
