He said, mentoring Sammy Gyamfi would not be a problem even though they are members of different political parties given the excellent relationship he has with NDC MPs including the Ranking Member of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Communications, Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini, the Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Mr Sam George and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Asutifi South, Alhaji Collins Dauda

He said during the 30-minute conversation with Sammy Gyamfi's father, he asked him to advise his son to be wary of some of the comments he makes, especially about the security services.

Mr Agyapong revealed that he drew parallels between Sammy Gyamfi and NDC communicators such as Koku Anyidoho and Allotey Jacobs who in his opinion have been phased-out despite being top defenders of the NDC in the past.

He said Mr Gyamfi's father also apologised over any comments his son might have made to offend him (Kennedy Agyapong) and he has also "forgiven the boy".
