Akufo-Addo files Election 2020 nomination at EC

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo Tuesday morning filed his nomination papers at the Electoral Commission (EC) headquarters in Accra in his bid to seek a second term in office.

It makes him the second person to submit his nomination papers since the EC opened its gates for filing on Monday, October 5, 2020.

Graphic Online's Kester Aburam Korankye reported from the EC headquarters that President Akufo-Addo submitted his nomination to the EC before midday in person.

He was accompanied by some government appointees.

The first person to file his nomination on Tuesday [October 6, 2020] was independent aspirant Alfred Kwame Asiedu Walker, who is going to have Jacob Osei Yeboah (JOY) as his running mate.
