Akufo-addo congratulates Dr. Edward Mahama, PNC National Officers

The Flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has congratulated the Peoples National Convention for a successful delegates congress in Wa that elected new national officers a flagbearer for the 2016 elections.

Nana Addo congratulated Dr. Edward Nasigre Mahama for election as flagbearer for the PNC for the 2016 elections.

“I also congratulate the new National Officers of the party who were elected at the same National Congress of Saturday, December 12, 2015.”

“It is my hope that Dr. Edward Mahama and the new crop of National Officers will bring their wealth of experience to bear in steering the affairs of the PNC, and, also, help in shaping the political discourse, from one of personality attacks to a competition of policies and ideas, ahead of next year’s election. This will help to reinforce the peace and stability of our nation.”
