Akrose chief endorses President Mahama for second term

The Akrosehene in the Akyem Kotoku area of the Eastern region, Nana Kwabena  Ofori II has endorsed President John Mahama's bid for a second term.

According to him, President Mahama has brought to the area a number of laudable development projects and therefore needs to be given a second term. 

The chief made the endorsement when the Vice President, Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur paid a courtesy call on him on his second day of campaign in the eastern region.

The traditional leader expressed the conviction that it was under the Mahama led administration that the district has enjoyed infrastructural development.                         

The vice president thanked Nana Ofori II and reiterated the government's commitment to deliver on its manifesto pledges to the electorate                         

Mr Amissah-Arthur who is accompanied by the Eastern Regional Minister, Ms Mavis Ama Frimpong, the NDC Director of Elections, Mr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo as well as regional executives of the NDC in the region would also address rallies at Akyim Swedru and Oda as part of his campaign tour of the Eastern region this week.
