Four District Chief Executive (DCEs) have been sacked by the President.
They are the DCEs of Kwaebibrem, Mr Reginald Emmanuel Aboagye; West Mamprusi, Mr Adam Banabelsera Yussif; Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai, Mr Joseph Adansi Bondah; and Agona East, Mr Martin Luther Obeng.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Mr Julius Debrah, and issued by the ministry.
According to the statement, the President, in accordance with Article 243 (1) of the 1992 constitution and section 20 (4) of the Local Government Act, Act 462, 1993, has relieved the four DCEs of their posts with immediate effect.
