The centre has also been recognised for its leadership and innovation in the realm of customer satisfaction by the Business Initiative Directions (BID) Group One at an awards ceremony in Geneva, Switzerland.

The award was received on behalf of the centre by Dr Moses De-Gaulle Dogbatsey, the CEO/Medical Director, and Mrs Juliana Adyzie Dogbatsey, the Administrator of the centre, and one of their sons, De-Gaulle Moses Kofi Dogbatsey Jnr.

Forty-nine companies and organisations from 49 countries around the world were recognised for quality and excellence. The ceremony was presided over by the President and Chief Executive of the BID Group, Mr Jose E. Prieto.

According to Mr Prieto, “The award recipients are icons of commitment to leadership, technology and innovation, making them models for others in their sectors.”

He commended the Medi-Moses Prostate Centre for making “quality a core focus for continuous improvement of management to maintain leadership in its sector and community”.

Meticulous and credible treatment

Dr Dogbatsey, in an interview with the Daily Graphic, said he was overwhelmed by the recognition the centre had received over the past five years and attributed this accomplishment to the meticulous and credible treatment and cure for the benign prostate enlargement.

Dr Dogbatsey, who is a Principal Medical Officer and a Pharmacognosist (specialist in plant medicine) from the School of Medical Sciences and Faculty of Pharmacy respectively of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Kumasi, after training in orthodox medicine, said he practised for eight years at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).

He was later seconded by the government to the Centre for Scientific Research into Plant Medicine at Mampong Akuapem to head the Clinical Research Department for five years.

He said he later left to establish the Medi-Moses Prostate Centre where he was able to manufacture over 15 pure 100 per cent herbal food supplements to manage a wide range of ailments affecting mankind naturally.

His inventions and innovations have caught the eyes of the world. His flagship product, the Prostacure teabag, which has been thoroughly and scientifically analysed by the KNUST, in terms of its effects on the liver and kidneys, were certified to be safe. The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) also double-checked the findings from KNUST before finally certifying the product. Prostacure teabag is used to improve urinary symptoms such as frequent urination during day and night; delayed urination; incomplete urination; urgency to urinate and straining while urinating.

International honours

Dr Dogbatsey said the Medi-Moses Prostate Centre had been receiving international honours since its introduction. The first was in 2010 when the West Africa Nobles Forum, a group of professionals who have reached the pinnacle of their chosen professions, awarded Medi-Moses Prostate Centre as the leading prostate enlargement treatment centre in West Africa.

In 2013, the centre received the International Arch of Europe Award in the Gold Category as the number one natural prostate enlargement treatment centre in the world in Frankfurt, Germany.

He said so far more than 20,000 patients across the world have benefitted from treatment at the facility.
