The Medi Moses Prostate Centre at Adenta in Accra has won the International Quality Crown Award in the Diamond Category at the International Quality Convention held in London recently.
The award was in recognition of the centre’s strong commitment to quality, leadership, technology, innovation and excellence.
Presenting the award to the Medical Director of the Centre, Dr Moses De-Gaulle Dogbatsey, the President of the Business Initiative Development (BID), organisers of the programme, Mr Jose E. Prieto, said “the exploits of the centre makes quality a core focus for continuous improvement of management to maintain leadership in its sector and community”.
Representatives of 51companies from around the world were also honoured at the ceremony.
Dr Dogbatsey, who spoke to The Mirror later on his arrival from London, expressed gratitude to his staff and patients who had made the feat achievable.
According to Dr Dogbatsey, this latest award, the sixth in six years, would motivate him and his team to work harder to do more for society and mankind.
Dr Dogbatsey established the centre in 2008 and uses a herbal food supplement called Prostacure, in improving urinary flow in men with Benign Prostate Hyperplasla (BPH).
