Zoomlion makes skips for assemblies in Eastern Region
The Eastern Regional office of Zoomlion Ghana Limited is assembling 180 skips for municipal and district assemblies in the region as part of the company's Sanitation Improvement Programme.

Currently, welders are busily putting the containers together in Koforidua for distribution early next month.
The Regional Manager of the company, Mr George Aguadze, explained in an interview that the new skips would replace worn-out ones in the municipal and district assemblies to improve sanitation conditions of those areas.
"Most of the containers are old so we are retrieving all the worn-out ones and replacing them with new ones," he stated.
According to him, municipal assemblies were to have 21 of the central containers and 11 for district assemblies.
There are 10 municipal assemblies in the Eastern Region, and they are Koforidua, Suhum, Akropong, Odumase, Somanya, Kibi, Nkawkaw, Asamankese, Oda and Nsawam.
Mr Aguadze said the distribution of the containers would be done according to the number of worn-out containers to be replaced.
Distribution will begin early next month and will be completed by the end of the year, he stated.
He said the company had had discussions with the various chief executives who were eagerly expecting the containers in their areas of jurisdiction.
