Youth urged to eschew lying, cheating

“Avoid the temptation to cheat. Avoid false, vain and foolish doctrines. Don’t chase money and lose the sense of what is important in life. People sell themselves trying to get an advantage. We should be honest a hundred per cent of the time,” he added.

He said God had given Christians rules to live by which included honesty in all dealings, including business and cautioned against bribery in order to gain an advantage.

“You can do the right thing, and not only survive but achieve success. Find the right route, stick to it and you will succeed,” he said.

Mr Curtis said the surest way for Christians to know what was right was to live by God’s  word and prayed that the “light of Christ” would inspire them to know what was right.
