Theodora Adjorlolo on her part is said to have failed to submit SSNT contributions report contrary to the pensions Act.

Facts

Presenting the facts of the case, the prosecutor, Mr Frank Asamoah Damptey, said whilst Grace Abekah failed to register her driving school with SSNIT, Theodora Adjorlolo has since February 2013 failed to submit SSNT contributions report.

He said even though a team of SSNIT officials visited the two establishments and served them in person with summons to appear before the court to answer the charges proffered against them, they refused to appear on March 3, 2018 and hence a bench warrant was issued for their arrest.

He said they were arrested at separate locations on Tuesday by the Weija police with the assistance of SSNIT officials and kept at the police cells overnight before they were brought to the court.

The court, presided over by His Worship, Dr. Kotoku Walanyo granted them bail with two sureties each in the sum of GH¢1,000. In addition, they are to deposit GH¢200.00 at the court.

The case has been adjourned to March 24, 2018.
