TUC holds forum on Sustainable Development Goals & Decent Work

The Trades Union Congress (TUC Ghana) has announced that as part of this year’s May Day celebrations, it will hold a forum Wednesday, April 25, on the theme “Sustainable Development Goals & Decent Work: The Role of Social Partners”.

The forum to be addressed by the Acting Director General of National Development Planning Commission (NDPC), Dr. Grace Bediako as the Keynote Speaker, will be held at the Mensvic Hotel in Accra.

A statement issued by TUC Secretary General, Dr. Yaw Baah said this year’s National May Day Parade will however be held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Tuesday, 1st May, 2018 from 8:00am to 1:00pm.

The national parade will see President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the Special Guest of Honour.

Also ahead of the national May Day celebration, the TUC says there will also be a Health Walk in Kumasi on Saturday, April 28, 2018. The Health Walk will start at 7:00am from Kumasi Post Office and end at Jubilee Park.
