Toyota Ghana Company Limited has launched a new entry sports and utility vehicle (SUV) called Rush, onto the Ghanaian automobile market.
The seven seater, four-speed automatic vehicle is powered by a four cylinder, 1.5-litre dual VVT-i engine.
Added to an engine technology that offers significant fuel savings, the Rush is equipped with features such as a Keyless entry, Auto A/C, push start, reverse camera/sensors, driver and side curtain and knee airbags to provide passengers with comfort and safety.
Welcoming the guests to the launch, the Managing Director of Toyota, Mr Takuya Kajiura, said Ghana was the first country in the Sub Saharan Africa division of Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) to launch the new model.
He explained that it was the resolve of Toyota Ghana to supply quality and durable vehicles at affordable prices to their customers in Ghana.
The Marketing Manager of the company, Mr Jerry Mensah, indicated that the stylish and innovative product was an engineering achievement through the collaborative efforts of TMC and Daihatsu Motors.
He again said with advanced features, the Rush was unmatched within its competition.
For his part, the National Sales and Marketing Manager of Toyota Ghana, Mr Andrew Lamptey, said customers who confirmed an order within the year would be offered a one-year free service packages.
