Amec Foster Wheeler Operations Ghana Limited, a leading oil and gas industry, has donated assorted food items to the Teshie Orphanage in Accra.
The donation forms part of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities. The items included bags of rice, tins of Milo beverage drink, sugar, crates of eggs and boxes of mineral water.
The Contract Manager of the company, Dr Cyril Titus-Glover, said Amec Foster Wheeler was not only a business entity but also a member of the local communities in which it operated.
“We strive to build good relations with representatives of these communities through thoughtful activities that support local community initiatives and fit into the vision and mission of our company.”
