Movie House Plaza, a cinema and movie theatre company, has renovated the Tema Municipal Assembly (TMA) Sub-metro office in Community 2.
The renovation works, estimated at GH¢15,000, involved tiling of the entire office floor, painting, glazing of the windows, fixing of air-conditioners and installation of flat screen TVs,.
The company also provided fridges, a microwave, a Multi-TV decoder, tables, swivel chairs, glass partitions, among other items.
The Chief Executive Officer of Movie House Plaza, Mr David Amoo-Osae Jnr, who handed over the keys of the building to Mr Edward Shaddey, Head of the Environmental and Public Health Department of the TMA, noted that it was a real shame to find the office that served the entire community in such a dilapidated and terrible shape.
He said the restoration works had given the Sub-metro office a facelift, making it stand out as a modern building.
Mr Amoo-Osae urged other businesses and entrepreneurs in and around Tema to contribute their quota in transforming Tema into a contemporary metropolis.
Mr Shaddey thanked the management and staff of Movie House Plaza for their gesture. He said the new look of TMA Sub-metro office would go a long way to motivate staff to give of their best.
