Speaking at the anniversary, the President of the society, Madam Margaret Lucy Mensah, urged members to live up to the motto of the society, “Service to God and Mankind”.

Mad. Mensah said over the years, the society had made donations to various groups such as the female and children’s wards of the Psychiatric Hospital in Accra, the Village of Hope at Gomoa Fetteh, the City of Hope Orphanage at Sodom and Gomorrah, as well as organised retreats on various occasions.

Speaking on the future of the society, an executive member, Opanyin Angelina Ampadu, expressed the hope that the society would grow from strength to strength and ultimately serve God and mankind.

In a Homily, Rev. Fr Andrews Obeng (SVD), who spoke on the theme, “Don’t be late for heaven,” said the end times was near  given all the happenings in the world currently.

He said,“Eternity is just a stone throw away, Ghanaians, especially Christians must establish a personal relationship with Jesus and establish an attitude of alms giving”

The society was launched on April, 13, 2004 and inaugurated on November 14, 2004. It currently has 55 members.
