Some relief items were also donated to inmates of the juvenile reformation centre.

The office equipment included a cabinet, printer, computer, furniture, arch files, toner, a television set, stationery and clothing.

The leader of RnF Foundation, Mr. Roderick Ayeh and Programme Coordinator, Mrs Ruth Osei Asante handed the items to the unit.

They noted that the donation was in response to an appeal for assistant by the unit.

“We had an invitation from one of the counselors here. She had seen our projects and felt that since we were into child development we could aid them”. Mrs. Osei said.

Mr. Ayeh added that the intervention was in line with the foundation’s mission to implement projects and programmes that benefited underserved people.

“We do this on yearly basis and this time around we decided to spend time with the kids here hence we named this project RnF Borstal 2020”

Mr. Ayeh indicated that in the wake of covid 19 and its adverse financial effects, donors remained indefatigable in giving.

Reintegration

The Head of Counseling Unit who doubles as the 2nd in Command at the SCC, Chief Superintendent of Prisons, Victoria Adzewodah expressed gratitude by saying, “this means a lot to us, my appreciation goes to RnF for brining all these to set up the counseling unit”.
