RICS Consult appoints Chief Operating Officer

She joined RICS Consult in 1999 as a Projects Coordinator and before her present appointment had been the General Manager of the company for the past seven years.

Mrs Danquah takes over the Chief Operating Officer position at a time the company is consolidating its foremost place in the emerging events industry in Ghana and it is expected that this will leave Mr Magnus Rex Danquah, the Founder and Executive Chairman of RICS Consult, room to leverage his three decades of experience to grow the company’s external business interests.

Says Mr Danquah, “The past 27 years have been the most rewarding years of my life, and at age 58 this year I am more than convinced that it is the most opportune time to shift and take on the new challenges that I anticipate growing the international aspects of our business.”

For her part, Nana Adwoa expressed her delight at her new position.

 “I am greatly honoured by this appointment. I know wearing Rex Danquah’s shoes now will be quite challenging but I see exciting years ahead as the company gets ready to re-position itself and pursue new businesses to maintain its leadership of a very dynamic emerging industry,” she said.
