The Commercial Director of PZ Cussons Ghana Limited, David Afflu, has stated that customer satisfaction is the main key to the success and growth of businesses.
According to him, being sincere to the customer about the use of a product determines how often the customer would patronise it.
Mr Afflu said this when two ultimate winners of a promotion held by the company, were presented with two Virgin Atlantic sponsored Accra-London-Accra flight tickets in Tema.
In February, 2013, PZ Cussons’ Imperial Leather, a personal care brand, launched a consumer promotion dubbed; “The Imperial Leather Luxury Treasure Hunt”.
The promotion which lasted for four months saw the brand giving away over 23,000 prizes to its loyal consumers, the ultimate of which were the two return tickets to London.
PZ Cussons partnered with over 300 shops where consumers redeemed their prizes and at the end of the promotion, Freda Sarkodie Abebrese and Kweku Korsah Enninful emerged the ultimate winners of the promotion.

Mr Afflu said while deceit might last for a while in sustaining the patronage of customers for a product, "the customers would soon find out that the product is not as good as portrayed and move on to a better product".
He said to maintain a company’s customers, sincerity and a strong determination to maintain quality were very important.
Mr Kweku Korsa Enninful, a teacher and one of the ultimate winners, said,"I just opened a soap wrapper and saw the ticket in there. “I did not in the least expect this surprise."
