Police Hospital shuts down OPD, Emergency Ward

The Out Patients Department (OPD) and the Accident and Emergency Ward of the Police Hospital will be temporarily closed to the public from Friday, May 22 to Monday May 25, 2015.

This is to enable the hospital undertake a periodic renovation works for efficient service delivery to patients, a statement signed by the Director General of Public Affairs of the hospital, Rev. David Nenyi Ampah-Bennin said.

The hospital’s administration has however made arrangements to ensure that patients are attended to and where necessary referred to other medical facilities for attention.

The Police Hospital is therefore soliciting the cooperation of the public for a successful exercise and improved service.

“The Police Hospital Administration wishes to apologize for any inconvenience caused,” the statement said.
